Jónsi – Boy Lilikoi
It looks like we might have to wait a little bit longer for that new Sigur Rós album. The good news however is that Jónsi, the band’s frontman, is releasing a solo album called Go in March (the 22nd to be precise) and he released the first taster as a free download on Friday. Boy Lilikoi is nothing like what his normal day job is like. It’s a colourful, bright, and energetic number that is as euphoric as some of Björk’s dancier material. Once you get over the initial shock that Jónsi is actually singing in English, you’ll find yourself playing it over and over again like I did over the past weekend.
