Pezzettino – You Never Know

Anti-fans of all things twee should probably look away right now. I have seen what might be the most cutesy, twee, and happy music video for sometime. You Never Know, full of accordians and twinkly xylophones and all the other staple musical instruments required to make good twee-pop, is by Margaret Stutt, aka Pezzettino. It’s a simple song and is helped by this very simple video, which involves her playing accordian on a bridge, running around New York with her suitcase in tow, and smiling a lot. It’s the sort of thing that some people will hate but I can’t help but fall for it.
