New Arctic Monkeys album in 2010?

It’s only been three months since the Arctic Monkeys unleashed Humbug on the general public but there may already be plans to record a follow-up very soon. Matt Helders, the band’s drummer, has said that talk of recording sessions have begun but it’ll be a bit of time before they eventually commit to tape as they whittle down potential songs. He told 6music:
We’re already talking about when we can record again, but I still enjoy being on tour as well. It’s good to have time to work stuff out, then at least you can start doing the quality control before and actually record what you think is decent, rather than recording hundreds of songs to then find out you only like 10 of them.
The band are currently in the middle of a UK arena tour.
