Asobi Seksu to release acoustic album

Dreamy shoegazers Asobi Seksu are set to release a new album of acoustic takes on songs from their back catalogue. Acoustic At Olympic Studios gets released on the 16th November and is one of the last albums ever to be recorded at the London recording studio before it was closed. Vocalist Yuki Chikudate and guitarist James Hanna have recorded alternative versions of tracks from all three of their studio albums, some b-sides, and a cover of Suzanne by Hope Sandoval. This release rounds off a busy 2009 for the band as they’ve been promoting their newest album, Hush, for most of the year, and will soon be supporting White Lies on their UK tour.
