You may remember the band Battles, they who created the exuberant, complex, and downright brilliant Mirrored back in 2007. Well, via We Listen To You, I’ve managed to find videos of three completely new songs that they’ve been airing live. Much to the delight of every admirer of the band, the songs are very Battles-esque and very promising. Sanford And Son has the many shifts in direction that never makes it a dull listen. Sweetie And Shag is a bit more precise in terms of rhythm but there are still layers of different instrumentation on top of that. SDICT, the track that is shown below, is perhaps the new song that would fit on Mirrored the most.
