Flaming Lips recruit MGMT and Karen O for Embryonic
More details are being released about the next Flaming Lips album, which, as was previously reported will be called Embryonic, by frontman Wayne Coyne. The album will also have some collaborations from pretty damn good guest starts – MGMT and Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The former contributed their parts via e-mail after the frontman sent them some files and Karen O’s part was done over the telephone. The spirit of rock ‘n’ roll is obviously still very much alive.
