No Muse or Coldplay at Glastonbury

Muse

One final, final, final piece of Glastonbury news before everything kicks off properly tomorrow (it actually has a few bands playing today but Friday is the day where all stages have some sort of music going on). Contrary to internet rumours earlier in the week that hinted Muse and/or Coldplay would make surprise apperances at the festival on The Park Stage, Emily Eavis has played down those rumours. She told NME:

I’m glad Klaxons announced themselves so their fans know they can catch them there, we have another surprise on Friday and it’s really exciting for us. It’s not [Muse or Coldplay] despite the rumours. We’re well excited.

Unless Muse have some sort of Tardis available, they are stuck in New York currently mastering their fifth studio album, The Resistance.

  1. It’s a crying shame, I was excited to hear new songs off The Resistance.
