Recommend me some Faith No More

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Recommend Me feature but I think now is the good time to bring it back because I have a dilemma…
You see, when I was planning my trip to Reading in August I was all set for heading down to the main stage on Friday night to watch headliners Kings Of Leon shine. I haven’t them seen on this tour with the new album but I imagine the atmosphere at their gigs has been electric and they can very easily get a crowd onside – a skill that is more than useful as festivals. And then Festival Republic announced Faith No More were all set to play Reading & Leeds in the wake up of their triumphant Download headlining performance. I know quite a lot of people, including colleagues at Sonic Dice, who thoroughly enjoyed it. I have people hounding me to go and see them in both ears. I must admit that all the attention that been drawn to the reformed rockers has sparked a new curiosity in me.
It now leaves me with a very straightforward choice. Do I stick to my guns and watch the whole of the Kings Of Leon set or should I ditch them altogether for Faith No More in a small tent? Tough choice.
So before I make my final decision I want to actually hear some recorded Faith No More. Your challenge dear reader, should you choose to accept it, is to recommend me some of the material. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a track or an album that you recommend, just give me something to work with and I will make a note to investigate further. Then, as soon as I’ve given it time, I’ll report back.
So what are you waiting for? Leave me a comment with suggestions and I’ll get listening.

Angel Dust. This album is excellent. So is King for a Day. I’d listen to angel dust though. You won’t regret it. They’re better live than KOL too.
