Coldplay have good taste in support bands
If you’re planning on going to any of Coldplay’s summer shows in Europe then you’ll be in for an evening of treats. Aside from the headlining band themselves, the four-piece have picked some pretty damn good support bands to help them out. The two most prominent include Bat For Lashes (who is recently setting US blogs on fire with her performances over there) and The Flaming Lips (ignore that they are supporting, it’s The Flaming Lips goddammit!) as well as Jay-Z, White Lies, Girls Aloud, Datarock and Howling Bells. You can say what you like about Coldplay and whether or not you like them, they can recruit some damn fine support bands.
