Bloc Party – One More Chance
Oh Bloc Party, how you surprise me. Their career has been littered with direction change after direction change. It’s made their career as predictable as the Glastonbury weather forecast. In August the band will release yet another one-off single release (following from Two More Years and the rave-tastic Flux) called One More Chance and it is owes so much of a debt to 90s house straight from the off with its looping piano melody. I don’t like 90s house, yet I do like this song. This is one of the band’s better dance-orientated singles as choppy guitar riffing plays against a pounding beat.
