School Of Seven Bells
School Of Seven Bells are another band scheduled to play The Great Escape in Brighton next month. I reviewed their debut album, Alpinisms, last year and I described it as ‘a solid album with some brilliant ethereal-sounding moments.’ A few months later and I still stand by that statement. The album is full of brilliant soundscapes provided by Benjamin Curtis (formerly of The Secret Machines) and the Deheza Twins. They’ve currently been supporting Bat For Lashes on her UK tour and then what follows is another support slot tour with White Lies before their very own UK tour. Their Great Escape gig takes place on the Saturday at the Pavilion Theatre.
