Let It Be remastered: The Beatles reissues

The Beatles

This could be a very good financial year for The Beatles. For starters, I’m expecting The Beatles edition of Rock Band to sell by the truckload. Now the Liverpudlian quartet’s entire back catalogue is set to be released again this autumn – all completely remastered. The new editions will also feature plenty of goodies like the usual rare photos, expanded booklets and so forth. Guy Massey, Steve Rooke, Paul Hicks, Sean Magee, Sam Okell, and Simon Gibson, under coordination by Allan Rouse, took charge of the massive remastering job (which has taken four years) having had previous experience with other Beatles projects. The new versions will be released on the 9th September – the same day as The Beatles edition of Rock Band.
