Guilfest is good shocker: Motörhead and Brian Wilson headline
I really didn’t think much of Guilfest last year, especially with their decision to book a tribute band to headline the final night. At the end of British Sea Power’s brilliant but unappreciated set last year I didn’t really know what it would take to bring me back to my local festival. Well, it seems that they’re trying their best after the surprise bookings of a couple of headliners. I’ve seen Motörhead before and they didn’t impress me much but it’s the appearance of Brian Wilson that has really got my attention. I might wait a bit longer to see the supporting cast but this announcement has made me interested again. The festival takes place between the 10th-12th July at Stoke Park in Guildford and ticket information is on the Guilfest website.
