Kanye West Vs. Stephen Colbert
DING DING! What would Stephen Colbert, an Emmy award winning comedian for his satirical TV show, The Colbert Report, have against self-proclaimed “voice of a generation” Kanye West? Well, it all boils down to iTunes charts. Kanye’s latest, 808s & Heartbreaks, went straight in at number 1 and denied Colbert’s soundtrack to his Christmas special, which was recently aired in the States, (featuring Elvis Costello, Feist, John Legend and others) of hitting the top spot. He is now calling on all fans to buy his album at precisely 5pm Eastern Time so that he can topple the hip hop megastar. His plea below:
