Artwork revealed for 808s & Heartbreaks
I’m not even joking when I say that the recently unveiled artwork for the new Kanye West album, 808s & Heartbreaks, could be the best thing about it. The deflated heart balloon, originally seen on the cover of Love Lockdown, is simple but effective. As for the colours on the left? They are colour codes for each individual song on the album (well, that is what’s likely to be true anyway). If we were living in a world where you really did have to judge a record by its cover (back in the days of vinyl) then I would have probably bought it. In the current world where Kanye is leaking really average tracks from the album on a regular basis, not so much.
