Apparently, the Performing Rights Society are getting tough on shops. Including charity shops. According to Teletext Planet Sound “charity shops will no longer be allowed to play radio or CDs unless they have a £60 annual licence from musicians’ organisation Performing Rights Society.” I don’t know about you but I find that licence absolutely barmy.
